Jennifer Norber, Teacher

Jennifer Norber

After years of taking yoga and feeling its profound effects on her mental, physical, and spiritual health, Jennifer Norber, E-RYT wanted to learn more and help spread yoga’s benefits.

In 2015, she graduated from yoga teacher training and began teaching group classes. Later that year she also began her hospice career and has been using asana, breathing techniques (often coupled with intentions or prayers), and meditation techniques with patients and their families as they transition at end-of-life.

Jen is also an activist and believes yoga is a journey to understanding that all Beings are interconnected and that each individual’s liberation is directly tied to the liberation of all.

In classes she strives to offer opportunity for Swadhyaya (self-study) and reflection. Jennifer’s classes tend to be playful and slower-paced, yet challenging, with an approach that encourages all levels of students.

She has completed additional yoga trainings and certifications in several styles of yin yoga, trauma-informed yoga, yoga nidra, and Vedic chanting, and is a Reiki Master.
