Greetings, fellow seekers of balance and well-being! I'm Deepa Bagri, a certified yoga teacher, and I have had the privilege of guiding diverse souls on their yoga journey for the past seven years. I have guided classes that range from dynamic flows to introspective yin sessions.

My personal exploration of yoga began many years ago and it quickly became more than a physical practice for me; it became a pathway to self-discovery and healing. 

At the heart of my teaching philosophy is the belief that everyone's yoga journey is a unique narrative waiting to be unfolded. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or stepping onto the mat for the first time, I strive to create a welcoming space where stories of growth, joy, and transformation can unfold. 

My teaching style is characterized by a harmonious blend of physical alignment, breath awareness, and mindfulness. I believe in tailoring each class to meet the diverse needs of my students, creating an inclusive space where individuals of all levels and backgrounds feel welcomed and supported.

Beyond the physical postures, I strongly encourage students to move and breathe with awareness, and to embrace yoga as a lifestyle that extends beyond the mat.

What to expect at Gentle Yoga…

Wear comfortable clothing. You may bring a yoga mat and water bottle. Yoga mats and bottles of water are available here if you do not have these items with you. You will be guided through basic gentle yoga postures on the mat, including seated and standing poses. The yoga instructor is available to support by demonstrating modifications to poses based on individual needs and requests. 

This class is appropriate for both new and experienced yoga students.

What to expect at Candlelight Yin Yoga…

Wear comfortable clothing. You may bring a yoga mat and water bottle. Yoga mats and bottles of water are available here if you do not have these items with you. Yin Yoga is a style of yoga in which poses are held for 3-5 minutes on each side. The teacher will guide you through these poses, which focus on flexibility and relaxation by targeting deep connective tissue.

This class is appropriate for both new and seasoned yoga students.
